logo

Production logo's are a thing. Companies have logo's in order to show consumers what they do, making people judge the book by the cover. Here I take a look at logo's in order to help me create my own logo.

Perhaps the most recognizable production logo, the paramount logo is very successful as it is very "filmic" and simple. it utilizes vintage looking footage in order to show the viewer something about there companies history. From this logo we can learn that our logo should in some way reference to our film company to portray what kind of company we are.

Again a very well known production logo, the Walt Disney logo uses a very traditional and family friendly font and also a castle in there logo which is must likely a reference to the things Disney are most known for, family friendly content (the font) and Disney land (the castle). Fromm Disney we learn that we can make references to things that relate to our company from simple things like font and images.

My logo design

In my logo I wanted to reference how professional our group was and also our creative nature so i created a creative and professional looking logo.

Meetings

Meeting minutes
ACTIONS TO BE AGREED ON
  • More filming should be done to lengthen opening.
  • More narrative should be added to make understanding the opening more.
  • Abstract imagery should be added to the opening to make it slightly longer.
  • Voice overs should be done if audio isn't of good enough quality.
MOTIONS TAKEN OR REJECTED
  • We decided more filming needed to be done if we were to reach the required opening length.
  • We also agreed that the narrative from the footage so far once edited down felt very rushed and may need more imagery, or dialogue.

NEXT STEP PLANNED
  • Filming in Harris Bromley and on Beckenham High Street will be planned with the shoot schedule.
  • The script will be amended and added to lengthen opening and add narrative.

ITEMS TO BE HELD OVER
  • Abstract imagery should be added to the opening to make it slightly longer.
  • Voice overs should be done if audio isn't of good enough quality.

    StoryBoard II

The second remake of the story board is much more slow paced and is meant to have more tense moments which is an aspect of thrillers

    Shoot schedule

    Animatic 1

This animatic showed what we would be filming and the length of the shots.
We however taught that it was too short and had a lot of missing and vital information so in our next animatic we will add the title screens, make it longer and add the music will be using.
